Working in pairs, we were asked to combine both of our previous projects to create a piece of furniture. We were asked to pick three out of four of our combined aesthetic variables and select furniture types that our project would reference. In this project, we used the video portion to illustrate how an ambiguous couple who enjoys an opulent lifestyle might use our furniture, while our in-person set illustrated how a person who likes opulence but can't afford it might style and use it. The manual was used to create a reality in which our piece of furniture has many admirers, creating a cult following, and leading to the creation of fan fiction, fan magazines, conventions, or even clubs/groups.
