Taking into consideration Ypsilanti’s lonely downtown, the many artists and artistic businesses in the area, as well as the need for housing, this project is a proposal for a Mixed-Use Housing complex in the heart of downtown. This project is dedicated to provide artists with flexible live/work apartments where they can grow creatively, while at the same time providing Downtown with necessary small businesses and community activities to convert Ypsilanti into an important artistic hub for the surrounding community. This building will turn Ypsilanti into an Art Campus by being the center of campus or "the quad".
