“Stanze di Mopontucci”

Our collection's name is a portmanteau of the modern Italian designers that inspired our work: Carlo Molino, Gio Ponti, and Giovanni Michelucci. The project involved the design and construction of a screen, a cabinet, a table, and an array of seats as part of a larger collection known as a “stanza” or room. While each piece is unique in its design, they all share the same materials such as black steel, woods such as maple and walnut, and brass in order to achieve the elegance of high-end Italian furniture collections. Each design displays an asymmetric aesthetic at the steel base while maintining a formality to the wood elements on top.
