[UG 1] RODDIER - STUDENT WORK

“Potters House”
This home works to place growth in the things we create. Based on the incorporated studio space of the home, a ceramics studio, and a garden shed, this house is an upscaled version of the potted plant. The urban context of the site pushes for rectilinear forms on the exterior to blend with the surrounding environment, however from within one is encircled in space, where naturally occurring forms dominate. Using Binh House by VTN Architects as the precedent, notes of transparency and blur between the indoors and outdoors can be found in Potters House as well.
