“ECO-Social”
Eco social is a fusion of experiences that defines ECOlogy and ECOnomic viability within a housing project. Situated in the context of Brush Park, Detroit, the site is surrounded by a lot of historical significance and new developments, this community tries to give importance to the social context and the multigenerational demographics of the area. It talks about socialization as a key element mainly to give importance to the mental health of the people and their wellbeing and also make the different ages group and diversity of people feel inclusive in the space. It is seen at different scales in the project starting from the pedestrian walkways, to co-living spaces and unit level design in multiplex and highrise.
