Fungarium Grounds is an interim program that offers community engagement to Ann Arbor, Michigan, and surrounding cities. It brings knowledge about sustainable materials, education about foraging for all ages, and involvement in making a future impact using fungi as a valuable material. This central hub to mycelium merges its connection to people, specifically through construction materials like brick and insulation, and the development of this material through all phases. This site expands Ann Arbor's relationship to fungi through moments of exchange, display, and production activities.
