To activate the obsoleting factory located at 415 W. Washington Street, two lifecycles (bricks lifecycle and plants lifecycle) are introduced and implemented. The intersection between these two lifecycles inspired me for the layout and activities. By moving the walls of old buildings and inserting plants and bricks, I’m trying to blur the boundary between interior and exterior, old and new, creating an opening yard space where people can fully engage in activities –making/taking care of/ sell their plants/bricks
